After two years of searching, we have a New Choir Director! 

Welcome Boyoung Kang

She is from Seoul, Korea and moved here to continue her studies and work.  She still has family in Korea as her mother and brother are living there.   We welcome her and look forward to our fellowship together!

Boyoung has a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting (Bowling Green), a Doctor of Musical Arts Choral Conducting (UT at Austin), a Master of Music Choral Conducting (Pen State), and a Bachelor of Music vocal Performance (Sook Myung University, Seoul Korea)

She has taught and worked at Bluffton University, UT Austin, Penn State U, Black Swamp Community Orchestra, Putnam High Choral Clinic and other schools, Music Director at Black Swamp Community, Emmanuel, Cedar Park Tx, Vox Beata Director in Austin, Shepherd of the Hills, Austin Tx, Collegium Musicum Artistic Director, University United Methodist, Austin, Penn State Global Voices and the Twelve, Young Kwang Kore and Church choir Penn State, Summer Korean Church Choir, Penn State, University Brethren and Baptist Church Choir, Festival Conducting. She has received many honors and awards for her work and studies!

She will be leading Choir, and working with Bell Choir and Children, and doing some singing herself.  Watch for practice times and information to come!  We are so excited to have her and are looking forward to doing ministry together.
