KCCM joined us in October and meet weekly for prayers and worship, Sundays 12:30 pm and 1pm
They host a Grief Group on 3rd Saturdays from 10am -12pm with Potluck
A yearly mission program is creating 100s of Hygiene Packs for students
We collaborate in prayer groups, Bible Studies, and Special Services and join together in fellowship and outreach. Pastor Blue and Pastor Adelsberger will be supplying for each others’ ministry and will be on call as needed for each other.
Irene Blue served for five years as a Deaconess at Calvary Baptist Church and then for seven years as an Elder, Women’s ministry and worship director with Gethsemane Christian Discipleship Church. She answered the call and became the Assistant Pastor for Kingdom Community Christian Ministries while attending seminary.
Kingdom Community Christian Ministries (KCCM) was founded on August 1, 2009, and then later incorporated in 2011 under the leadership of Loreene Pettaway, founding pastor. She served faithfully until the Lord called her home August 29, 2021. Irene Blue was installed as pastor on November 21, 2021. Since then, KCCM has conducted a Hygiene Kit drive and distribution program placing over 3000 hygiene kits in the community and built an online community of followers of the live Sunday message.
Pastor Blue currently holds her annual ministry license with the Great Lakes Conference—Churches of God, General Conference. She has Master’s Degree in Practical Theology from Winebrenner Theological Seminary in Findlay, OH and an MBA from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO.
Professionally Irene has worked as a human resource professional for over 20 years, and was recognized as the 2022 HR Professional of the year. She currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library.
Irene has been married to her husband Tony since 2001 and together they have two children Joshua and Evelyn. Irene loves to travel and visit friends, and family members back in their hometown in St Louis, MO and across the country or just explore historical landmarks all around the country. She has a heart to serve others in need.
Irene’s life verse is Matthew 6:33 Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.
